Carol Watchler LGBTQIA+ Advocacy Conference

Kick off Pride Month at the 4th Annual Carol Watchler LGBTQIA+ Advocacy Conference. Join us for a powerful day of celebration, advocacy and inspiration. Attendees will be provided with the tools needed to create, support, and defend inclusive curriculum, while creating a space for LGBTQIA+ advocates and their allies to interact and share their successes with members interested in learning more. We especially encourage queer NJEA members who are struggling to be their authentic selves to attend and learn from some of New Jersey’s most accomplished social justice advocates. Keynote speaker: Melanie Willingham-Jaggers, Executive Director of GLSEN, now Glisten (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network).
