About this conference
Carbon Forward: Towards LA28 is the official launch of a regional initiative to bring 1 million tons of low-carbon concrete alternatives to market by 2030, backed by the City of Los Angeles, City of Long Beach, County of Los Angeles, and USGBC California. The summit will release findings from a regional RFI on low-carbon concrete solutions and convene architects, engineers, policymakers, suppliers, and procurement leads. It is a forum where conversation becomes policy and research becomes procurement, focusing on transforming Southern California's approach to specifying and procuring concrete in anticipation of the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
