CalPERS Benefits Education Event

CalPERS Benefits Education Events (CBEEs) are free events designed to help members understand their retirement and CalPERS health benefits at any stage of their career. Through interactive classes and access to Ask the Experts, attendees will gain the information and tools needed to make informed decisions and plan their retirement with confidence. The event offers classes tailored for early to mid-career members (more than 10 years from retirement) and those nearing retirement (within 10 years), covering topics such as CalPERS Retirement Benefits, CalPERS Health Benefits, and Save & Invest. Additionally, classes on Social Security and myCalPERS & Your Retirement Options are available for all members. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect directly with knowledgeable professionals from CalPERS, partnering organizations (including CSEA, California State Retirees, CSU System Wide Benefits Office, HICAP, RPEA, Savings Plus, ScholarShare 529, and Social Security Administration), and health plan providers to get answers to specific questions.
