California Fire Mechanics Academy Spring Academy 2026

The California Fire Mechanics Academy (CFMA) is a premier training institution devoted to the education, professional development, and technical certification of emergency apparatus technicians and fire service mechanics. The Spring Academy is CFMA's flagship event, offering numerous courses to support Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) staff in staying current with the latest technology. It also includes the California Emergency Equipment Showcase for learning about the newest products, and many events where mechanics and fire fighters can network to build resources for problem-solving and further growth. The academy provides training curriculum to personnel who service, maintain, operate, and manage fire service and emergency vehicles and equipment, helping them improve their knowledge and maintenance abilities and meet certification requirements established by the California State Fire Marshal's office and other nationally recognized certification organizations.
