BPDA is officially accepting proposals for their 2026 Summer Conference: Community is Power. None of us do this work alone. This year, we're gathering at Brooklyn Law School from June 16--18 to explore how collective support and shared expertise fuel our fight for justice. Whether you're a seasoned veteran, an aspiring defender, or working in solidarity from a community-based organization, we want your voice in the room. We are looking for everything from litigation skills training to wellness sessions focused on sustaining ourselves in this work.
