About this conference
The Black SEL Summit is an annual event focused on advancing social-emotional learning (SEL) through the lens of Black experiences, voices, and wellness. The summit aims to empower Black students and communities, addressing unique challenges related to racism, prejudice, and marginalization. Attendees can expect panel discussions, roundtable discussions, breakout sessions, access to SEL resources and vendors, teacher recruitment opportunities, an awards gala, and a community block party. It fosters community involvement and shared leadership to address social issues and build sustainable SEL systems in Black communities.
