About this conference

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the Bennett Trust Women's Land Stewardship Conference on Oct. 5-6 in Fredericksburg. Supported by the Bennett Trust endowment, a legacy of Eskell and Ruth Bennett, this program offers practical, region-specific education for landowners in the Edwards Plateau. Through expert-led sessions, participants gain tools for effective land stewardship, covering topics such as brush control, prescribed fire, water management, estate planning, livestock management, and other resource management topics. Whether you're a new landowner or a multi-generational rancher, the Bennett Land Stewardship Program delivers tools and knowledge to help you sustainably manage and preserve the unique natural resources of the Edwards Plateau. While the event is organized with women landowners in mind, it is open to everyone.
