Bank Counsel & Regulatory Risk Conference 2026

The Bank Counsel & Regulatory Risk Conference is the most prestigious gathering for bank counsel and bankers in Illinois. It provides an in-depth exploration of cutting-edge issues in banking law and regulatory compliance. Key topics typically include comprehensive updates on Illinois and federal banking laws, a regulatory roundtable featuring senior representatives from the IDFPR, OCC, FDIC, FRB Chicago, and CFPB to discuss major developments and hot-button issues. The conference also addresses the implications of administrative policy and Supreme Court decisions on financial services, the aftermath of elections on the banking landscape, and recent trends in commercial and consumer lending, including UCC legislation and documentation challenges. Attendees will gain valuable insights to identify and manage critical legal and regulatory aspects central to their practice and the banking industry's financial stability.
