AP & Dean Summit '27 2027

Every day, Assistant Principals and Deans make decisions that shape the experiences of students, staff, and families. From navigating difficult conversations and supporting students to leading instruction and responding to complex legal and operational challenges, the work demands thoughtful leadership in moments that are rarely simple. But how often do we have the opportunity to step back, examine how we lead, and consider how we might respond differently? The 2027 MASSP AP & Dean Summit creates that opportunity. Grounded in Identity, Agency, and Purpose, this year's Summit focuses on understanding how our behaviors influence our leadership, recognizing the choices available to us, and becoming more intentional about how we respond to the challenges of our work. Through an interactive keynote experience, practical breakout sessions, and meaningful collaboration with colleagues from across Michigan, you'll explore new approaches, strengthen your leadership practice, and develop strategies you can put to work immediately.
