The Michigan Downtown Association's Summer Workshop, themed 'Keeping the Magic of Strong Michigan Downtowns Alive,' will be held in downtown South Haven. This two-day event explores how dynamic downtown spaces foster inspiration and economic vitality, serving as powerful engines for sustainable growth and development. The event commences on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with a walking tour of downtown South Haven, guided by the Downtown Development Authority, followed by a networking event with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar. The main workshop sessions on Thursday, June 4, at the Michigan Maritime Museum, will cover topics such as: Connecting Downtown to Natural Resources, Public Spaces, Understanding Retail Shifts, Using Design to Create Safe & Desirable Streets, and The Magic of Downtowns.
Sponsorship options
Sponsorship for workshops, including the Summer Workshop, costs $300.
