AMIA 2028 Annual Symposium

The AMIA Annual Symposium gathers more than 2,000-plus informatics professionals from around the world for the research and practice of biomedical and health informatics. Attendees hear Industry-leading keynote speakers, experience 600-plus presentations over 150 sessions, and 50-plus state-of-the-art exhibitions. It's an opportunity to network with industry leaders, colleagues, and students, and grow informatics knowledge base with reports, policy, and scientific sessions. The meeting brings together leaders advancing informatics innovation across clinical care, research, education, and industry, and convenes thousands of informaticians to share research and insights on leveraging health information and emerging technologies to improve human health. The theme for the 2026 symposium is "Harnessing Informatics to Accelerate Learning Health Systems", addressing the evolution of health care, biomedical research, and public health infrastructures to support dynamic, data-driven learning.
