About this conference
A free literary event co-presented by the American Writers Museum and Chicago Public Library, featuring in-depth conversations with diverse writers from across genres and backgrounds. It aims to celebrate the power of the written word and showcase writers' contributions to American history, culture, and daily life. The festival will include panels and topics ranging from novels and memoirs to screenwriting, comedy, horror, and journalism. Attendees can engage in writing workshops, literary crafts, and storytimes for all ages. Books by participating authors will be available for purchase and signing.
