Allegheny Society of American Foresters Summer Training 2026

This 1.5-day summer meeting includes an evening reception and a day of field-based programming touring Stone Valley Research Forest. The Pennsylvania Division of SAF, with support from the Rothrock Chapter, invites attendees to the upcoming summer meeting of Allegheny Society of American Foresters in State College, PA. This program offers a shorter agenda structure that prioritizes time spent gathered together around food and in the forest, aiming to deliver high value with less investment of cost and time. All events are included with registration, encouraging connection and fellowship among members, and providing space for discussions with forestry education and research program leaders. The central focus is an all-day field tour of Stone Valley Forest, The Pennsylvania State University’s actively managed research forest, featuring a catered barbecue lunch.
