About this conference
The ALL MEANS ALL Institute focuses on fostering collaboration between general and special educators to close the achievement gap for over 7.3 million K-12 students receiving special education services in the United States. The institute provides engaging keynotes and specialized breakout sessions, led by nationally recognized experts, to equip educator teams with research-based techniques and innovative strategies. Participants will learn to recognize the urgency of this issue, challenge the alignment mindset, explore the role of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), develop effective collaboration strategies, foster shared ownership for curriculum and IEP development, design targeted plans for diverse learners, understand collaborative standards-aligned IEP goals, discover scaffolding and technology integration, apply unit-planning schedules, explore Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), establish collaborative processes for instruction, assessment, and grading, and cultivate self- and collective efficacy. The program builds on the principles of the book 'Yes We Can!' to help schools move beyond labels and champion the success of all students.
