About this conference
This is a special edition of the FCCS Women of Distinction Program, launched by the Farm Credit Council in celebration of the International Year of the Woman Farmer. The program provides leadership development training to women leaders across the Farm Credit System. It blends historical lessons in decision-making, legacy-building, and resilience from the historic grounds of Gettysburg with modern leadership strategies. Participants are prepared to return to their communities with renewed purpose and power, strengthening strategic relationships and networks, and applying leadership lessons to modern-day challenges. Each of the 55 Farm Credit Associations and four banks are invited to nominate one female leader. The Farm Credit Council covers the program cost and meals for each attendee, while the nominating institution is responsible for travel, hotel, and incidentals.
