About this conference
The Advanced Municipal Finance Institute (AMFI) is an engaging, practitioner-led program designed for rising municipal finance leaders. Moving beyond the fundamentals, the program focuses on critical management strategies, strategic finance, service delivery, and emerging technology, including the transformative impact of AI, to prepare the next generation of executive leadership. Through immersive case studies and collaborative group discussions, participants will share real-world experiences and build a lasting professional network. By balancing technical mastery with strategic foresight, AMFI empowers current and future leaders to align resources with policy imperatives, drive fiscal resiliency, improve credit quality, and leverage enabling technologies to meet the complex demands of modern government. Participants in the Institute will earn a certificate of completion and will also be eligible for 24 hours of CPE.
