About this conference
To empower educators and program leaders with strategies, resources, and action plans to connect language learning with workforce readiness, career opportunities, and community partnerships. The conference will be structured around three learning and action strands based on the following focus topics: Curriculum: Connecting classroom language learning to careers and workforce readiness; Pathways: Designing career-connected pathways and student recognition opportunities that demonstrate workforce readiness; Partnerships: Building partnerships that expand career and workforce opportunities within language programs. Participants will leave with a Career and Workforce Readiness Toolkit and a Leadership Brief with practical resources and next steps they can use to strengthen career and workforce readiness within their own programs.
