About this conference
The American Association for State and Local History hosts many events throughout the year, including our Annual Conference each September, as well as virtual and in-person summits. Our conference and events aren't too big or too small---they're the right size to make connections to others and to gain ideas for your work. Members always receive the best registration rates! In the lead-up to the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, our conference themes are inspired by the five guiding themes that AASLH has identified for the Semiquincentennial. You can learn more about these themes in Making History at 250: A Field Guide for the Semiquincentennial.
