About this conference
Join us in Chicago, where together we'll strengthen civic learning and democracy at regional public universities through collaboration, innovation, and shared commitment. For more than 20 years, AASCU's nonpartisan American Democracy Project (ADP) has helped nearly 300 state colleges and universities prepare informed, active citizens. This event, convened on March 15-16, 2026, for a day and a half of ADP-focused dialogue, collaboration, and collective envisioning, directly precedes the Campus Compact Annual Meeting (Compact26). This strategic alignment allows for deeper engagement on civic engagement and higher education's contributions to the public good.
