The CSG West Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for attendees to find camaraderie, discover new approaches to their legislative efforts, grow their network of experts, and engage in policy discussions. Sessions focus on emerging issues, allowing policymakers to learn about innovations that improve legislation and regional outcomes. The conference also offers leadership training programs, including interactive workshops to sharpen skills in communications, consensus building, time management, and ethics. Legislative Learning Labs provide a platform for private sector experts to host educational forums addressing critical issues facing state legislatures, delivered in a nonpartisan setting to share information and engage participants in conversation around industry innovations and resources. Additionally, the CSG West Chair selects special topics of interest as focus areas for programming.
