73rd Annual ASBA Conference

The Arkansas School Boards Association is now accepting presentation proposals for its 73rd Annual Conference, December 9-11, 2026. This year’s theme is 'Where Leadership Finds Its Rhythm - Setting the Tone for Stronger Schools,' and we are seeking engaging, informative sessions designed to strengthen the skills of Arkansas school board members and administrators. Presentations should target school board members as the primary audience, enhance board members’ ability to improve student outcomes, preferably include a school board member as part of the presenting team, and offer innovative ideas and practical solutions. Topics include: Board Members' Legal and Ethical Responsibilities, School Laws & Regulations, Board Member Roles & Responsibilities, Board/Superintendent Relationships, Board Ethics, Student Achievement, Community Relations, School Operations, How to Interpret and Apply School Finance Concepts, Student Discipline and Safety, Effective Governance Practices, Effective Leadership and Accountability, and Learning and Leadership.
