About this conference
The School District of Philadelphia's 6th Annual Back-to-School Celebration & Bus Tour is designed to help families prepare for the 2026-2027 school year. The tour includes 4 fun-filled Mega-Events powered by Independence Blue Cross and Live Nation, hosted in partnership with Radio One, Comcast, Roosevelt Mall, and The City of Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management. Attendees can enjoy snacks and frozen treats, participate in games and raffles, chat with Street Team Ambassadors for back-to-school information, register children for PreK-12th grade, sign up for a Parent Portal account, learn about School District job openings, get free backpacks and school supplies, and receive critical information from partner organizations. Select locations offer low-cost immunizations and school physicals. A new High School Showcase will also be part of the Bus Tour.
