About this conference
The 63rd ACJS Annual Meeting, hosted by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), will take place from March 3 - 7, 2026, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Philadelphia, PA. ACJS President Dr. Stephanie Mizrahi will lead a program featuring over 300 educational sessions, special events, and workshops. The conference theme, "Crises Across the Criminal Justice Landscape: The Nexus of Governance and Responsibility," aims to examine how criminal justice has evolved in the two decades since 9/11. It will address emerging issues within the criminal justice system and emphasize its role in confronting these challenges both domestically and internationally, recognizing that many problems transcend national borders. The event is designed to blend academic research with real-world criminal justice practice to foster improvements in education, policy, and reform within the field.
