HACU's Annual Conference provides a premier forum for sharing innovative ideas and best practices in higher education at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). The conference brings together leaders and stakeholders dedicated to advancing institutional excellence and the success of all students. Highlights include showcasing successful programs and initiatives, promoting and expanding partnerships, highlighting graduate education opportunities, addressing policy and legislative issues impacting educational access and success, encouraging student participation in scholarships and internships, exploring emerging trends in higher education affecting HSIs such as distance learning, student-centered learning, outcomes assessment, and cross-national accreditation. The conference also features track sessions organized under key focus areas including Capacity-Building for HSIs, Teaching and Learning, Student Engagement and Success, Excellence in Leadership, Federal and State Advocacy, Policy and Research, Global Engagement, and Preparing the Future Workforce, along with a Student Track: The Adelante! Leadership Institute.
