38th Colonel Henry F. Williams Annual International Homicide Seminar

The 38th Colonel Henry F. Williams Annual International Homicide Seminar, hosted by the New York State Police, is a five-day program designed for detectives and investigators specializing in homicide investigations. The seminar addresses essential investigative topics such as forensic pathology, cellular data analysis, psychological and behavioral analysis, crime scene reconstruction, social media dynamics, domestic violence, and advancements in forensic technology. The curriculum emphasizes the practical application of forensic science in death investigations, featuring instruction from leading experts in the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with investigators and detectives from around the world and receive an electronic directory of "Williams Associates" for multi-jurisdictional investigations. This year's event will feature presentations on topics including Shot in the Dark, Chris Watts Case Study, Cold Cases, Mass Exhumations and Modern Investigative Tools, Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy, Buried Secrets: The Bucks County Killing Spree, The Murder of Karen Norton, No Body Homicide/Device Location, Homicide of Brandyn Foster, DNA Technology, Yogurt Shop Murders, and Forensic Video / Digital Media. Special events include a reception, an optional trip to the NYS Police K-9 facility and National Baseball Hall of Fame, and a Lake George cruise.
