About this conference
The Virginia Fund Raising Institute is the premier training ground for fundraising professionals in Virginia. Begun in 1992, by the Shenandoah Chapter and expanded in 2000 with other Virginia AFP chapters, the Institute draws attendees from all over Virginia, DC, Maryland and West Virginia and is celebrating its 34th anniversary in 2026. The planning committee for the annual VFRI Conference will provide sessions that attract a multi-level audience and will energize, educate, and empower great fundraising and nonprofit management. Drawing more than 250 attendees, VFRI is the premiere educational event for development and nonprofit professionals in the Commonwealth. It hosts interactive educational workshops and several keynote presentations, and 15-20 exhibitors and sponsors will share their knowledge and counsel in nonprofit and volunteer management.

Multiple sponsorship opportunities are available for VFRI 2026, including Presenting ($7,500), Lead ($5,000), Partner ($2,500), and Exhibitor ($1,000) levels.
