About this conference
The 34th Annual Threat Management Conference, organized by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), focuses on major issues surrounding mass shootings and other public attacks, workplace violence, school/campus violence, domestic violence, assassination of public figures, and other situations involving the prevention of targeted violence. The conference aims to feature new and exciting speakers sharing knowledge and experience with attendees, with a particular interest in practical case management presentations, including workshops and detailed case studies. It is co-sponsored by the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center (NUPPC), which is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
