About this conference
The Milwaukee Awards for Neighborhood Development Innovation (MANDIs) celebrate outstanding individuals, organizations, and projects making Milwaukee a great place to live, learn, work, and grow. Presented by U.S. Bank and hosted by LISC Milwaukee, the awards recognize excellence in community development and those driving real change across communities, particularly benefiting low to moderate-income neighborhoods within the city of Milwaukee. The event culminates in the announcement of winners across several categories including community health, innovation, long-standing commitment, public space use, economic development, real estate projects, and individual leadership. Finalists are selected by an independent, cross-sector volunteer committee including representatives from financial institutions, foundations, real estate development, for-profit organizations, education facilities, the arts, media outlets, and County and City government.
