The Therapeutic Recreation (TR) Summit is a premier professional development event designed to help therapeutic recreation professionals grow as leaders, strengthen their skills, and connect with peers from across Illinois. Through engaging education and meaningful networking, attendees will gain practical ideas, fresh perspectives, and strategies they can immediately apply in their agencies and communities. This year's program features interactive sessions on leadership, inclusion, emotional intelligence, wellness, volunteer management, coaching, and behavior support, all presented by experienced professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities within therapeutic recreation. Every session is pre-approved by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), giving attendees the opportunity to earn valuable continuing education hours toward maintaining their CTRS certification while investing in their professional growth.
