About this conference
The Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE), in partnership with Dream Teachers and the Louisiana Association of Principals, hosts this annual gala to recognize and celebrate some of the state's most exceptional educators. The event acknowledges teachers and leaders who are making exceptional gains with students, exemplifying Louisiana’s education profession. The overall and division-level honorees for the 2027 Teacher and Principal of the Year will be named during this event.
