About this conference
The Association of Water Board Directors -- Texas (AWBD) was formed in the early 1970s to promote unity and education among the various water districts in Texas. It serves as an advocacy group for utility districts, including MUDs (Municipal Utility Districts), PUDs (Public Utility Districts), SUDs (Special Utility Districts), UDs (Utility Districts), WCIDs (Water Control & Improvement Districts), and Levee Improvement Districts (LIDs). The conference provides a platform for board directors (public officials) and industry consultants to stay informed on the latest technology, laws, and regulations affecting their operations. Attendees can engage in discussions, exchange ideas, and benefit from AWBD's mission to enhance Texas water district operation and management through education, unification, and advocacy.
Sponsorship options
AWBD offers various sponsorship opportunities for both Midwinter and Annual conferences, including Giveaway Bag items (subject to approval and stuffing fee), Coffee Break Sponsorship, Continental Breakfast Sponsorship, Saturday Luncheon Sponsorship, Conference APP/Printed Conference Notebook Sponsorship, Golf Hole Sponsorships, and Golf Luncheon Sponsorships. Additional special events opportunities are available for Director 101/201, Emerging Leaders, and Water Smart Consultant Partners.
