About this conference
Join us for an unforgettable education conference to share strategies, struggles, and successes during four days of learning, collaborating, and networking. The conference offers hundreds of sessions on topics from CTE, math, and literacy to addressing the effects of poverty and trauma and ensuring equitable access to quality instruction. Attendees will take home actionable strategies to advance K-12 school improvement efforts and raise student achievement. SREB's Making Schools Work school improvement process employs a distributed leadership approach to involve the whole school in identifying problems of practice that impact student engagement and achievement and developing plans to solve them. Focus areas include motivating students through engaging instruction, aligning curricula with state readiness standards, ensuring students can explore careers and complete career pathways, providing student supports that promote readiness, and creating and supporting cultures of continuous improvement.
