About this conference
The 2027 Technical Conference on Environmental Permitting & Construction brings together professionals managing federal permitting programs, litigation exposure, methane and GHG reporting requirements, and complicated field conditions. The conference unites operators, environmental and permitting SMEs, construction and right-of-way leaders, air quality specialists, LNG project teams, consultants, attorneys, and agency representatives for three days in Nashville. Attendees will gain insights into changing regulations, effective approaches from peers, and key contacts for addressing project challenges. The program features four tracks, including a new LNG track, alongside general sessions. These sessions cover federal permitting changes, building durability into long-lead plans, comparing FAST-41 vs. non-FAST-41 projects, Corps' district variability, and FERC updates. The Environmental Permitting track focuses on decisions impacting project schedules, FERC's proposed blanket certificate rulemaking, Clean Water Act and Endangered Species risk, FERC projects on BLM land, minimum necessary mitigation, and the role of AI and data center growth in pipeline permitting. The Construction track addresses environmental compliance in the field, workable readiness processes, vegetation establishment, environmental DNA alternatives, and bank stabilization. The Air Quality track covers reporting and monitoring loads, GHG reporting, OOOOb/c, flare compliance, and regulations for meter and compressor stations. The new LNG track delves into lessons from recent projects, international lender expectations (Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards), and marine construction realities. The conference offers operator roundtables, project case studies, and lessons-learned discussions, allowing attendees to pressure-test their approaches. Regulatory and legal content is educational and practical, with several sessions including agency representatives.

Advance Partnership is a year-round position, held by ten companies, offering exclusive promotion across the full year, a seat at the Executive Conference (a C-suite, operator-only event), company-wide training with no per-seat limit, and an invitation to teach courses. The cost for the 2027 Advance Partnership is $35,000. Conference sponsorships are event and aspect specific, such as for a reception, a keynote, a technical track, or a break. The various levels of support include Host ($17,000), Signature ($12,000), Feature ($7,500), Session ($3,500), and Supporting ($1,500). A range of sponsorship opportunities are available for both member and non-member companies.
