About this conference
The Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) holds two plenary sessions each year, alternately in the North and South. The 2027 Spring Plenary Session will be a fully in-person event, with only the Saturday elections and resolution voting session offered in a hybrid format. These sessions are designed to apprise local senates (including their officers and official delegates), curriculum chairs, and other interested faculty about hot topics, provide new training to bolster the effectiveness of their senate, facilitate the selection of representatives and officers, and determine Senate positions and direction for the Executive Committee through resolution and voting processes. Local faculty leaders are encouraged to attend.
