2027 SCASA Innovative Ideas Institute

The SCASA Innovative Ideas Institute, now in its 47th year, is the premier leadership development conference for approximately 1,700 public school leaders in South Carolina and other southeastern states annually. Three days of keynotes and educational sessions are targeted to various school and position levels. Attendees range from assistant principals to superintendents and include all functions at the district level. Speakers and submitted topic areas are reviewed by a team of Board-approved school leaders. Well-respected state, regional, and nationally-recognized educational practitioners and business leaders are selected to provide information and motivational messages on leadership skills and innovative instructional programs and best practices. Trends and new strategies, presented in plenary and workshop format, offer numerous opportunities for recertification credits. This year's conference also provides an opportunity to interact with over 100 exhibitors who are also industry experts and solution-providers apprised of the most cutting edge products and services available to schools and districts to improve learning outcomes. Collaborating with both peers and experts on the most effective state-of-the-art instructional and leadership approaches is critical for gaining new perspectives and renewing energy around implementation of solutions that are designed to maximize student achievement.
