About this conference
The 2027 New Shared Mobility Summit, hosted by SUMC, is built around the belief that insights come from the people doing the work in their communities. It is designed to provide space, time, and the right people to turn insight into action. At its core are regional Change Teams, which are cross-sector coalitions of 8-12 leaders from cities, community organizations, transportation agencies, philanthropy, and adjacent sectors like health and education. The Summit fosters trust through shared agreements and intentional reflection, centers conversations around participant insights, and aims to build deep relationships and commit to people-centered mobility. It targets "Change Leaders" from public sector leaders (local, regional, state agencies), community leaders from grassroots organizations, and partners in mobility, technology, advocacy, health, education, and economic development.
