2027 Nebraska Economic Developers Association Annual Conference

Economic development professionals from across Nebraska will gather in Hastings next spring as the community hosts the 2027 Nebraska Economic Developers Association (NEDA) Annual Conference from April 14-16. The statewide conference is expected to bring together hundreds of economic development leaders, community development professionals, business representatives, utility partners, consultants and public officials to examine strategies for strengthening Nebraska's economy and supporting community growth. NEDA serves as Nebraska's leading professional association for economic developers, with a mission to advance economic development expertise, encourage partnership among professionals, and promote economic growth throughout the state. The organization hosts an annual conference and training events that provide continuing education, networking and professional development opportunities for members. Conference attendees may expect a variety of educational sessions, keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking events focused on topics such as workforce development, housing, business attraction and retention, community revitalization, entrepreneurship, infrastructure investment and emerging economic development trends. Previous NEDA conferences have also included local business tours, awards presentations recognizing excellence in economic development and opportunities to showcase successful community development projects.
