2027 Community College National Legislative Summit

The Community College National Legislative Summit is the premier federal advocacy event for community college leaders, hosted by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) in collaboration with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). This annual conference brings together over 1,000 community college trustees, presidents, and students to Washington, D.C. each February. Attendees advocate on Capitol Hill and hear from members of the U.S. Congress, federal officials from the White House, Departments of Education and Labor, leading political analysts, and other high-profile speakers. The event is designed to inform and educate leaders on federal policy issues impacting postsecondary institutions and students, shining a spotlight on the importance of community colleges for Congress and the Administration. Event programming emphasizes the importance of partnerships among community colleges, public policy, and industry partners.
