The Caltrans & Industry Building Information Modeling for Infrastructure (BIM4I) Summit is an annual in-person workshop designed to raise awareness and gather feedback on the use of digital tools for transportation project delivery. It aims to foster discussion on the adoption of digital tools and encourages Caltrans and industry partners to attend. The summit focuses on topics such as BIM adoption, emerging technologies, innovative project delivery methods, 3D modeling, automated machine guidance (AMG), digital as-builts, data sharing, project information model (PIM), outreach and training, standards and procedures, and asset management.
