2027 Annual Conference & Expo

MSSA is seeking presenters for its 2027 Annual Conference & Expo and 2027 Virtual Conference. Together, these programs draw more than 5,000 health and human services professionals and students across Minnesota and neighboring states. The 2027 theme, 'Rooted', explores the elements that keep us connected to our purpose, strengthen our foundation, and create opportunities to grow. MSSA is seeking sessions that explore what keeps health and human services professionals, organizations, and systems grounded, connected to purpose, and equipped to respond to the challenges shaping the field. Strong proposals will offer practical applications, fresh perspectives, emerging or adapted approaches, and strategies participants can use to reinforce the foundations of their work and grow within a changing field. Topics may include practices and relationships for effective direct service, professional well-being, ethical decision-making, team building, leadership, equitable workplaces, community knowledge, partnerships, policy impact, and adapting established practices.
