After more than 20 years in Laughlin, Nevada, the conference will now be held in Tucson, Arizona, in early January. The Arizona Fire District Association (AFDA) sponsors this premier conference and exhibition annually, providing information and educational opportunities for staff, Board of Directors, and personnel of member Fire Districts. The event brings together national and state decision-makers and experts across all facets of emergency services, covering leadership, management, and operations. Educational opportunities will encompass Fire District administration and governance, with instruction on topics such as legal and financial issues, human resources, liability, fire protection, and safety. Continuing education opportunities will also be available based on individual certification requirements. Attendees are encouraged to make travel plans and schedules accordingly due to the change.
