About this conference
The 2026 WUI Fire Engineering Summit will explore the intersection of wildland-urban interface fires and fire engineering. The event's primary focus is on interdisciplinary engineering research related to emerging technologies and solutions for better assessing WUI fire risks and developing mitigation strategies to create more resilient WUI communities. The two-day event, including pre-conference activities, will feature educational and workshop sessions, an Expo Hall, sponsor product demonstrations, and research poster presentations. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to identifying research, education, and outreach priorities. The Summit will also partner with Springer Nature to produce a special issue of the journal Fire Technology based on presentations.
