About this conference
The 2026 ALET Winter Conference focuses exclusively on technical and cybersecurity subjects, including network management, cyber-attack response, data governance, and AI applications in security. It aims to support Technology Directors and their technical staff, offering sessions on topics such as building a culture of cybersecurity, incident response in K-12, leveraging AI for self-assessments, and credential management. The conference also includes information on ALET's student internship grant pilot program, designed to assist Technology Directors with cyber and IT management goals and encourage K12 students in Alabama to pursue IT careers. Attendees can expect morning coffee/beverages and lunch both days, with up to 13 hours of professional development credit possible.
