The 2026 West Virginia Perinatal Summit celebrates 20 years of strengthening perinatal care and improving outcomes for mothers, babies, and families across West Virginia. This gathering is designed to reflect both the proud legacy and bright future of perinatal health. Participants will be able to describe best practices in perinatal, neonatal, and gynecologic health; identify quality improvement strategies for better health outcomes for pregnant women and newborns; discuss barriers and opportunities for improving access to care; outline policies and practices leading to improvements in healthcare quality and delivery in West Virginia; engage in collegial conversations about appropriate treatment; and build alliances to strengthen the West Virginia Perinatal Partnership. It serves as a forum for professionals in perinatal care to share best practices, current trends, and patient care experiences.
