Greater Virginia's most substantive ground-mounted solar development and land use conference returns to Richmond April 13-15, 2026. This fully-loaded summit offers three days of practical solar energy, land use, and environmental stewardship programming, coupled with exceptional networking opportunities. Attendees will join over 500 members of the VSS community, including frontline practitioners, policymakers, and government professionals for an immersive experience. The event features impactful sessions, interactive forums, workshops, and tutorials, exploring topics such as agrivoltaics (dual-use solar), brightfield development (solar redevelopment), relevant state and federal programs, permitting, grant application, project financing, and community engagement. Co-hosted by the Virginia Department of Energy and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, VSS26 is a collaborative and diverse assembly for energy, environment, and development professionals.
