About this conference
The 2026 VEDA Spring Conference is hosted in Virginia’s Historic Triangle—Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. Coinciding with the 250th Anniversary (Semiquincentennial) of the nation, the conference will explore how the Historic Triangle shaped America’s history and economic development. The theme for the conference is 'Stronger Connections. Stronger Communities. Stronger Virginia.' Attendees can anticipate high-quality, relevant speakers and content, along with numerous opportunities to connect, build community, and strengthen professional networks. Optional activities include golf at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, tours of Anheuser-Busch, Copper Fox Distillery, and the Yorktown History, Waterfront & Tastings Tour, and biking along the Capital Trail. A Thursday evening reception at the Muscarelle Museum of Art is also planned. The conference aims to provide an engaging experience filled with meaningful networking, insightful learning, and an exploration of Virginia’s Historic Triangle.
