2026 TEAFCS State Conference

The 2026 TEAFCS State Conference, themed "Seas the Day in Galveston!", invites attendees to Galveston Island for sun, sand, and professional inspiration from July 27-30, 2026. The conference aims to provide energizing sessions, meaningful connections, and a touch of Gulf Coast charm. Participants will enhance knowledge and skills in delivering research-based education across areas such as nutrition, wellness, financial literacy, youth development, food safety, and community health. The event will explore strategies for building effective partnerships with organizations, local businesses, and community stakeholders to strengthen county-level programming. Attendees will gain tools and resources to address key health priorities including chronic disease prevention, mental wellness, food safety, Alzheimer's education, family well-being, and youth health. The conference also includes hands-on workshops, tours, and demonstrations designed to build confidence and applicable skills, alongside opportunities to reflect on professional purpose, develop leadership capacity, and explore strategies for stress management, retirement planning, personal safety, and sustainable career engagement. Pre-conference sessions will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, with the main conference days anticipated to be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
