Join colleagues from across Washington at the 2026 Superintendent Conference, The Future We Build, for a forward-looking leadership experience centered on the promise of public education in our local communities and across our state. Together, we will clarify who we are, what we deliver, and how we strengthen public education for each child---today and for generations to come. Through structured collective inquiry, we will align around shared commitments and strengthen coherence, trust, and strategic leadership across our districts. Superintendents will explore six critical dimensions of our work: 1. Coalition building and governance alignment 2. Authentic family partnership 3. Mathematics learning 4. Artificial intelligence and the future of learning 5. Inclusion, access, and belonging 6. Accountability structures focused on growth and meaningful student outcomes. Participants will leave with strengthened collective language, expanded leadership capacity, and emerging frameworks to advance the future we build together.
