About this conference
The Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association's (MMUA) Summer Conference is a flagship event providing an opportunity for networking, educational programs, and social interaction for municipal utility leaders from across Minnesota. The extensive program offers engaging sessions and activities designed for utility commissioners, superintendents, managers, supervisors, and crew leaders, as well as city leaders, council members, and mayors. Attendees can expect in-depth pre-conference sessions exploring new opportunities and current utility challenges, a golf tournament or nature trail hike, and valuable networking with professionals from across the state. The conference features insightful speakers, panel discussions, and educational breakout sessions focusing on today's challenges, with multiple learning tracks available for council and commission members, utility staff leaders, electrical experts, water/wastewater experts, and human resources/admin professionals. A highly anticipated trade show will showcase vendors offering the latest tools, technologies, and solutions for municipal utilities. The event also includes an awards ceremony honoring outstanding individuals and utilities and discussions on MMUA's advocacy efforts.
Sponsorship options
MMUA offers comprehensive sponsorship opportunities for associate members to raise awareness of their products and services and support municipal utilities. These include an annual sponsorship program with Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers, providing enhanced benefits and sponsorship credits for events. Specific event sponsorships for the Summer Conference are available for $625 each, covering items such as: conference program advertisements, golf tournament contests (closest to the pin, hole sponsor, longest drive, prizes, putting contest), hospitality rooms, keynote sessions, luncheons, pre-conference banquets, pre-conference sessions, reception hors d'oeuvres, refreshment breaks, and track sessions. Premium sponsorship opportunities are also available for the Summer Conference, including Badge Lanyards ($1,155 per conference), Conference SWAG items ($1,155), and a Reception Keg of Beer ($1,155). These premium items are not eligible for purchase with annual sponsorship credits. Single items can be purchased year-round.
