About this conference

Each year, the Student Water Innovation and Leadership Summit brings together Georgia high school students to explore career opportunities within the water industry. The summit, organized by The Water Tower, aligns with its mission to attract, train, and place the next generation of water workers to support Georgia water utilities, addressing a projected loss of up to 50 percent of operations staff in the next 5 to 10 years across U.S. water utilities. Students in grades 9-12 engage with water-related businesses and organizations through hands-on learning activities covering treatment plant operations, water sampling and lab analysis, pipe system design and engineering, stream restoration, wildlife assessment, and robotics in water. The event also fosters skill development in leadership, communication, strategic thinking, team building, and networking.

Support for the Student Water Innovation & Leadership Summit is available at various tiers. The 'Water Hero' tier at $5,000 provides lunch and a photobooth for students, an opportunity for opening remarks, prominent logo placement across all marketing materials, company name highlight in press releases, largest and first choice booth space at the career expo, and a guest blog opportunity.
